The former employee is suing the rapper Sean Combs, (Diddy)
New York resident Francesca Spero is suing the rapper Sean Combs, also known as Diddy,. 51-year-old woman claims that she has been discriminated because of her age.
Spero first met Diddy in 1988. The woman said it was her that introduced the future star to producer Russell Simmons and representatives of the Uptown Records. Combs started his career in this company – though not as a musician, but as a manager. In 1993, he was fired from Uptown Records and created his own label, Bad Boy Records.
Later, an employee of Bad Boys Records became Francesca Spero. In her lawsuit states that she worked at the label for 12 years, but in March 2010 she was fired because of her age. Spero does not deny the fact that before she was fired she told one of the managers about her treatment of drug addiction.
Combs Representative said that the leadership of Bad Boy Records “There were many reasons for the dismissal Spero, but age in this list does not include”.
In October 2010, Bad Boy Records plans to release fifth studio album, Diddy, called “Last Train to Paris”.
