Today’s German teenagers engaged in sexual generally have sex less often than five years ago. Such data are contained in the report submitted on September 2 “Youth Sexuality 2010″ federal agency to promote healthy lifestyles (BZgA).
According to the report, the proportion of 14-year old boys, who at this age have had sexual intercourse dropped from 10 to 4 per cent and girls – from 12 to 7 per cent. However, as noted in the study, teenagers started to protect themselves much better than before.

For most German boys and girls first sexual experience accounted for 16-17 years. About one third of sexual intercourse at age 17 and later. “This sample shows that compared to the mid 90-ies, sexual activity of youth is almost unchanged, and even began to decline,” – noted the director BZgA Elisabeth Pott

The study surveyed about 3500 boys and girls. It is noted that 1000 of them are from migrant families. The survey showed significant differences between the two groups.

Thus, young men – come from migrant families have a sexual relationship before their German peers, and more sexually active. In contrast, girls from immigrant families are more reserved than their German contemporaries, and many of them consider sexual activity before marriage is wrong.
