Google has released an application on the basis of Wave. This was stated Google Wave Engineer, Alex North.
The program will be called “Wave in a Box” and will be based on open source code. In this package the program will include a server and Web client, equipped with the functions of collective work in real time. Date of official launch of “Wave in a Box” is not reported.

This program can be transferred conversations from a web service Google Wave, which was officially launched to all users in May 2010. However, Google said that “Wave in a Box” will not support all the features of this service.

Tools Google Wave, which combines the functions of instant messaging, e-mail and offers users the ability to co-edit documents, was announced in May 2009. In August 2010 Google announced that stops the development of service as a standalone product. However, he will continue to operate at least until the end of 2010.
