Wyclef Jean wrote a New song about the elections in Haiti

Rapper Wyclef Jean, seek the right to run for president of Haiti, and wrote a new song about the campaign. The composition, written in Haitian Creole, has hit the local radio broadcast. Also you can listen the song at musician’s personal blog.
The song is called “Prizon Pou KEPa”. It calls to imprison corrupt government officials who had not allowed Wyclef Jean to participate in the elections. In addition, the rapper accused acting President of Haiti, René Préval of interfering in the electoral race.

Rapper was actively involved in assisting affected by the earthquake to the population of Haiti. In early August, he registered as a candidate for president, but did not get the list of eligible applicants. According to one version, the reason for this is that a musician for many years was not living in Haiti. Rapper believes that the refusal was a consequence of the influence of local politicians. He intends to appeal the decision of the electoral commission in court.
