John Lennon’s Toilet sold for 9500 pounds

Toilet once stood in John Lennon’s house , was sold at auction for 9500 pounds, reports The Daily Telegraph.
The auction took place in the Beatles 33 th annual convention in Liverpool. Lots at the auction were many other relics related to the Beatles: autographs, records and musical instruments. The auction organizer, Stephen Bailey noted earlier that the toilet is one of the most bizarre of lots, which he has ever had to sell.

“Maybe the toilet is worth something, but maybe not,” – said Bailey. The experts argued that the cost of the lots in the auction may be from 750 to 1000 pounds.

The name of the buyer Lennon’s toilet were not disclosed. However, we know that the person who decided to purchase the item, live outside the UK.
