Sean Penn given a three years probation for beating a paparazzi
Sean Penn was sentenced to three years probation for assaulting a photographer Jordan Dawes. According to the Associated Press, winner of two Oscars would hold 300 hours of community service and undergo anger management.
There is, however, that the 49-year-old Penn may be exempt from work, taking into account the assistance he provided to earthquake victims in Haiti.
The court also ordered the actor not to approach them battered paparazzi closer than 100 yards (90 meters).
It is noted that Penn himself was not present at the meeting. His interests were represented by counsel.
