Microsoft completely redesigned Hotmail e-mail
Microsoft has described the new version of mail service Windows Live Hotmail. A public beta testing of the product will begin in the summer.
The new Hotmail is aimed at sharing large files and allows you to view and edit texts, spreadsheets, and presentations without ever leaving your browser. In addition, the postal service will be able to synchronize data with popular smartphones.
Attachments can be stored on the service SkyDrive, free of charge to 25 gigabytes of space for any files. At the same SkyDrive will be saved the edited file.
In addition, Microsoft promised to introduce a better system for Hotmail anti-spam mechanism and cleaning a mailbox, allowing to get rid of unwanted messages in your Inbox and automatically distribute them to other folders.
At present, Hotmail reported nearly 400 million users. This is the world’s largest postal service, although in the U.S. in the first place is Yahoo! Mail. Third place in this market is Gmail, which is growing faster than their larger competitors.
