Green card again becomes green

U.S. authorities have changed the design of a green card – a document confirming residence in the U.S. for foreign nationals. Information appeared on May 11 at the site of the Office of Citizenship and Immigration (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, USCIS).Renewed green card as stated in the message, again became green.
The green card legally resident foreigners in the U.S. have begun to distribute in 1940. Since then, the proof of residence, the tradition continues to be called “green card”, though the color card repeatedly changed, and in recent decades, the green card was rather yellow.

In addition to the restored green, the updated Green Card will receive a number of new security elements. Along with the holographic imaging and laser engraved card will emit a radio signal through which immigration officers at airports will be able to compare the distance information recorded on the map, the database USCIS.
