Former “Miss Universe” semifinalist Arrested in New York for drug possession
The former “Miss Russia” Miss Universe semifinalist Anna Malova arrested in New York for drug possession, forgery of medical prescriptions and trying to impersonate another person, according to Fox News.
38-year-old Malova was detained at the exit of Pharmacy on Sixth Avenue. According to the pharmacist, a former Miss Russia “allegedly stolen prescription forms from her doctor’s office and filled them out, went to the pharmacy to buy pain relive medication.And told the pharmacist that she is a physician.
As it turned out, the winner of the Beauty Contest 1998, has medical education, but can not work in U.S. because it does not have a license.
Channel tried to get comments about the incident from the organizers of the Miss Universe, but they refused to make any statements.
