EA decided to release Dead Space 2 in computers
The second part of the horror Dead Space will be released for personal computers, according to CVG with reference to the developers studio Visceral Games. In February, publisher Electronic Arts announced this project only for home and portable consoles, although the first part of the game came out at both the consoles and the PC.
Dead Space Release 2 is scheduled for early 2011. The game will unfold in three years after the events of the first part, and the main character once again become an engineer named Isaac Clarke. The official announcement of the sequel Dead Space was held in December 2009.
No reasons for refusal of issuance Dead Space 2 in personal computers, or cause a change that decision, representatives of Electronic Arts is not voiced.
A few days ago, publisher Electronic Arts has published a report for the ended March 31 fiscal year. Revenues for the period totaled 3.654 billion dollars, which is significantly lower than last year – for the previous financial year publisher earned 4.212 billion dollars.
Nevertheless, the losses of the company over the past year amounted to 677 million dollars, whereas in the previous year the figure has exceeded one billion dollars. According to analysts the company, in the coming fiscal year, Electronic Arts will work from 3,35 to 3,6 billion dollars.
