The index of consumer optimism has risen in early December
In early December, the index of consumer optimism in the U.S. rose against the backdrop of stabilizing labor market and the beginning of the season due to Christmas sales.
According to the Reuters / University of Michigan (The Reuters / University of Michigan Surveys of Consumers), the preliminary index of consumer optimism in early December, rose to 73.4 units, but was lower than the September figure.
