New York: in front of shocked tourists policeman shot and killed a man

In front of shocked tourists in the area of Times Square police shot and killed a man. 25-year-old suspect was just trying to deceive the naive tourists, when he was noticed by a policeman.

The representative of the law asked him for documents, but the man tried to escape, and the police ran after him. Tourists watched the fight, when he was fired.

During the incident the suspect fired at police from a stolen gun, the officer returned fire and hit the man in the chest and arm. The suspect was taken to hospital where he died. Police during the incident was not injured.

The representative of the New York Police Department Paul Browne reported that the suspect was fatally wounded near the hotel “Marriott Marquis”.
