Connecticut: Police arrested the mother whose baby had swallowed cocaine

Waterbury police have arrested the mother of five children after her 11-month baby swallowed cocaine and was hospitalized.

29-year-old Kenya Brown (Kenya Brown) is charged with drug possession, endangering the health of the child and unlawful possession of weapons.

The child was discharged from the hospital.

Brown told investigators that her roommate was sitting with the children when it happened. Roommate, 24-year-old Leshonda Davis (Leshonda Davis).

The police say that the room also found a loaded pistol, which was kept within the reach of children.
