British queen threatens court papers that publish pictures of her daily private activities
Queen Elizabeth II sent a letter to the editors of British newspapers and magazines, which strictly warned journalists not to publish pictures of the royal family, taken by paparazzi, British television and radio air.
Lawyers for the Queen was reminded newspaper people on the obligation to respect the right to privacy in accordance with their own set of rules and against the background of anger, which caused the invasion of their own lives.
The report notes that the appearance of photographers will be specially monitored on public roads around the royal estate in Norfolk Sendringhem House during Christmas holidays.
For its part, the official representative of the Prince of Wales, Paddy Haverson said that the royal family has the right to privacy during the “private daily activities.”
However, he noted that “they recognize that there is public interest in their persona and to what they are doing, but they do not believe that this applies to photographing their private lives they and their friends.”
