Apple filed a counterclaim to Nokia
The Americans accuse the Finnish mobile phone manufacturers to borrow 13 patents belonging to Apple. It is reported by Reuters.
The actions came in response to Apple’s October lawsuit Finns, in which Nokia claimed that in all models of smartphone iPhone illegally used its technology.
“I wish that our competitors sometimes invent something themselves, and not just steal our ideas,” – said Apple chief counsel Bruce Sewell.
Nokia official reaction to the claim until the Americans came.
The practice of counter-claims are often used in patent litigation. Typically, after a trial the parties conclude an agreement on cross-licensing.
