An Iraqi journalist’s similar attack

An Iraqi journalist Muntadar Al-Zeid, famous throughout the world that threw  shoes at the U.S. President George W. Bush underwent a similar attack – someone  threw a shoe during a press conference in the capital of France
Al-Zeid began his press conference at the Paris Center for the foreign press when the man entered the room, posing as an “Iraqi journalist in exile.

During a press conference unknown suddenly started shouting that Al-Zeid – a supporter of dictatorship. ” “Here’s another shoe,” – shouted to the assailant, throwing his shoes in the Iraqi. This was followed by a fight between his brother Al-Zeid and troublemakers.

Sam Muntadar Al-Zeid after his “attack” on Bush, was sentenced to a year in prison on charges of “acts of aggression against a foreign head of state, on an official visit.” Nine months later for good behavior al-Zeidi was released from prison.
