Americans mistakenly sold three military helicopters to Iran

Three U.S. military transport helicopter Bell-412 was accidentally sold to Iran, despite U.S. sanctions. As it turned out, two helicpoters were sent to Iran, while another was detained by U.S. authorities, and more than a year based at the airport in Arlington, Texas.

Note that this scheme was not disclosed immediately, but only after the buyers of helicopters requested by the transport company Panalpina cost of direct transportation of it from U.S. to Iran.

It is interesting that the helicopters were purchased from Mexican oil company by Pemex Italian firm.
