Israel is ready to change, Gilad Shalit for 980 Palestinian prisoners

On Monday, November 30, held a closed meeting of the High Court of Justice considers the appeal of victims of Palestinian terror against the ban on publishing details of the deal for the release of Gilad Shalit in exchange for Palestinian terrorists.

Parents of victims of the attacks required to publish the names of the militants, whom the Israeli government is going to release in a deal with Hamas.

As you know, the day before the public prosecutor partially declassified details of the deal, saying that in exchange for Gilad Shalit will be freed 980 Palestinian prisoners, including 450 terrorists, which requires the release of Hamas.

Prosecutors promised to explain the reasons for refraining from the publications about the deal – but only in a closed meeting High Court, which was scheduled for today.

Chief Justice Dorit Beinish at the end of the meeting issued a verdict that supports the position of the state. She explained that the prosecution reasonably proven that so far the deal has not yet concluded, and its terms are still not agreed, and the disagreements of the parties failed to resolve. “There is simply nothing to publish”, – underlined Dorit Beinish.
