According to unofficial reports, Iran may withdraw from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. This is reported by local media quoted the words of the authorities. They added that such a decision may take the Iranian parliament.
Furthermore, as it became known, Tehran may also prohibit the conduct of inspections at nuclear facilities in-country staff of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), transmits Associated Press.
On the eve of the IAEA published a document that condemned Iran for its unwillingness to comply with its nuclear program. Resolution condemning the Iranian authorities open defiance of the conditions proposed by the international community, was adopted at a meeting of IAEA Board of Governors in Vienna. For adoption of a resolution proposed by the United States, Russia, China, France and Germany, voted 25 out of 34 representatives from member countries of the IAEA.
IAEA emphasized that the agency remained “serious concerns” about the fact that Iran may produce nuclear weapons. The IAEA has also openly accused Tehran that the Iranian authorities to secretly build a uranium enrichment plant, and demanded an end to its construction.
U.S., Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany expect to negotiate with Tehran to supply out most of the enriched uranium and return it back to Tehran as a nuclear fuel, but the Iranian authorities insist on beneficiation of uranium in their country, RBC reports.
